The MASS Journal is the official publication of the Malaysian Solid State Science and Technology Society (MASS). Managed and funded by MASS, it serves as a prestigious, peer‑reviewed platform for researchers in materials science, physics, chemistry, and engineering-related solid state research. Publishing biannually in June and December, the journal promotes the dissemination of knowledge and supports Malaysia’s scientific advancement.

Our mission is to publish high-quality, peer-reviewed research articles, reviews, letters, and notes that contribute to the advancement of solid state science and related technologies. We aim to provide a credible and accessible platform for knowledge sharing among researchers, academics, industry professionals, and technologists. By upholding rigorous academic standards and ethical publishing practices, we strive to maintain the integrity and impact of scientific communication.
